Total Soldiers = Number of rows X Number of soldiers

Total Soldiers = 4096

Let, Number of soldiers = Number of rows = a
(since there are as many soldiers in a row as there are rows in the auditorium)

so, a x a = 4096

a^2 = 4096

a = squareroot of 4096

a = 64

Answer: option D
